Hi Yuriy,

I don't think that you will find a review on the usage of ROOT.

I have tried to maintain a few links at the beginning of the project at:
  http://root.cern.ch/root/ExApplications.html

but this has not been a big success. Many people posting the URL describing
their project do not report the address change when the project is
moved/upgraded to a new URL.
Another attempt was made two years ago at the MIT to maintain a list
of applications, but the list does not seem to be maintained anymore.

We have more information from users registering to our data base and indicating
their work domain. Out of 3371 registered users, we have
 - 2148 in High-Energy or Nuclear Physics
 - 799 in other scientific fields
 - 175 in commercial applications
 - 249 for private use

but we do not know the real number of users. 80,000 copies of the Users Guide
have been exported in two years.

I have no problems adding more references to our ExApplications.html page.
