Dear Mr/Ms

When trying to open (using Draw, Fit or Copy) histogramms, I get an error 
message stating:

root [2] <TCanvas::MakeDefCanvas>: created default TCanvas with name c1
Error in <RootX11ErrorHandler>: BadAccess (attempt to access private 
resource denied) (XID: 4294967295, XREQ: 88)

and root crashes, while the same file when using root from another user 
account (on the same computer) doesn't cause problems.
Do you know any solution to this problem?
