Hello I think $ROOTSYS/test/RootShower is a good example of the GUI. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch [mailto:owner-roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch] > On Behalf Of Edward Chen > Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2003 3:33 PM > To: roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch > Subject: [ROOT] Anyone with example forms? > > Hi - I'd like to build a GUI interface for my code. [Valeri Fine] On other hand what you are speaking about sound similar to what we tried to achieve with the STAR event display "tool kit": http://www4.rcf.bnl.gov/~fine/EventDisplay/ For example ther left pane of "Event Control Panel": http://www4.rcf.bnl.gov/~fine/EventDisplay/EventControlPanel.gif and "Event Filter" dialog: http://www4.rcf.bnl.gov/~fine/EventDisplay/filter.gif do display and allow to change the "filter" values in the user object memory. The "StFilterDialog class" is rather generic and has no STAR dependency. See: http://www.star.bnl.gov/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/StRoot/StEventDisplayMaker/St FilterDialog.h?rev=1.2&content-type=text/x-cvsweb-markup At least you can pick some ideas there. Hope this helps, Valeri > > Thanks for any help. > > -Ed
