Andy,

It is not clear what you want to do? 2-D geometry modelling, 3-D?
For 3_d modelling, you should use a geometry package such as TGeo 
classes, see http://root.cern.ch/root/doc/RootDoc.html.

For 2-D modelling, you can use a TCutg to create a set of points n,x,y
delimiting an area. See examples in the tutorials, eg fit2a.C, fit2D.C
A TCutG object can be created interactively with the graphics editor.
