Hi Henning, the problem is I don't have a machine to make the port on. I was thinking of putting Yellow Dog Linux on my G5 but have not found any time yet. The linuxppcegcs option is outdated and does not build ROOT in 64 bit mode. A port would take from one to two days if I can get access to your machine. Cheers, Fons.
