Heevman, a versatile acquisition and analysis interface for Root

Dear Rooters,

After now years of "active" development, I finally consider as sufficiently stable and interesting for public release, Heevman.

Heevman is intended as a versatile data acquisition and analysis interface. It was originally programmed for the metastable helium Bose-Einstein condensation experiment in the group of Atomic Optics in the Institute of Optics Orsay. We have based our acquisition and analysis entirely on it, and it can therefore be considered useful for mainstream use.
