Hi,

this is a known limitation that we'll make vanish soon. Until then, use ClassDef(RangeError,0), or hide RangeError from rootcint:

#ifdef __MAKECINT__
class RangeError;
#else
class RangeError: public std::exception { // the real class definition
... };
#endif
