Rene, read the documentation of other file formats (as for example HDF5 already mentioned here) - you even don't need latin language for that ;-) You will then see how file format documentation should look like.

P.S.: I will not contribute to this discussion any more. I consider it useless and I'm leaving for vacation :-)
