Hello Diego.
Do you want something like this:
http://www.star.bnl.gov/STAR/comp/vis/OnLineEventDisplay/AuAu200Animated.gif ? The picture above is a screenshot of the STAR online event display. It have been used for several years and it is based on the ROOT 3D classes rendered with the Qt-based OpenGL Viewer (see: http://root.bnl.gov/)

My best regards, Valeri

Subject: [ROOT] OpenGL and TPolyline3D

Hello, I'm using the root-GL-viewer and I have some questions related to the use of TPolyLine3D.
I can draw a TPolyLine3D, but the following methods seem to have no effect on in the GL-representation:

      line->SetLineStyle(...);
      line->SetLineWidth(...);

Is it possible to set these attributes?

The second problem is the following:
I need to draw a TPolyLine3D inside a volume, and I need the line to be visible from outside of the container volume. I attach the "geom_example_lines.C" as example: I'm drawing several lines, and I need to display all of them, while in my example all lines inside the "tube" volume are hidden.

I thank you in advance for your help.
Cheers
Diego
