Please, find the screen shot done with your macro and "qtgl ROOT" plugin http://root.bnl.gov/picture/qtgl_geom_example_lines.png

Another picture was done with the standard "ogl" plugin from the ROOT distribution.

In both cases I use the macro you have provided "as is"
