there are two things that need to be managed and for neither is roottalk an effective resource, hence my recommendation to use savannah: 1) a Gaudi Task to port Gaudi to MacOS PPC and 2) a set of bugs and patches that will come up during the task of porting Gaudi to PPC. Cintex support on PPC is only a minor part of the latter, so I'd start with getting a Task on Gaudi savannah.

Btw., how serious is Daya Bay in using PPC as a development and/or production platform? The issue being that Cintex is an unfortunate historic hack and so work on porting it takes away time that is better spent on making it unneeded.
