Well, my colleagues are telling me that I am wasting my time working on the PPC, and I'm now thinking they're right.

However, it's my personal opinion that if a framework is going to truly useful, it has to be useable 'in the field' - that is, for looking at raw data on a laptop. This is a huge part of experimental work, IMHO, and Macs are becoming the Laptop Of Choice.. but the PPC is probably not a platform to be catering to.
