Dear root team,

I want to download root source code from ftp://root.cern.ch/root/root_v5.21.02.source.tar.gz but it shows me some problem.

The following URL could not be retrieved: ftp://root.cern.ch/%2f/root/root_v5.21.02.source.tar.gz

Squid sent the following FTP command:

*

RETR root_v5.21.02.source.tar.gz

*

and then received this reply

*

Failed to establish connection.

*

**

This might be caused by an FTP URL with an absolute path (which does not comply with RFC 1738). If this is the cause, then the file can be found at ftp://root.cern.ch/%2f/%2f/root/root_v5.21.02.source.tar.gz. Your cache administrator is ganesh_singh.

I don't know the problem is with my system or from the root website side. I want to install root on ubuntu linux.

 please check.

Thank you in advance.
