Building root on fedora 10

Hi,

I'm trying to build root 5.26 on Fedora 10 from source.

It seems to build and install successfully, but upon starting root I receive the following message:

rootx xpm error: XpmOpenFailed
./root: can't start ROOT -- check that ~/root/bin/root.exe exists!

I have made sure that my PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH are set correctly. The configure command I used was:

./configure --prefix=~/root --enable-explicitlink --etcdir=~/root/etc
--enable-soversion

I need to build in my private area.

I get a similar error when I try to build 5.25/04.
