Hi,
configure would have installed MathMore, but MathMore needs libgsl (and it told you in its output :-). Just do sudo apt-get install libgsl0-dev and re-configure and re-build:
./build/unix/reconfigure.sh
make -j2

No I didnt. Thanks. It appears that I had underestimaged ./configure by
a bit. Looks like a track full of trouble ahead if I really have to
figure it out in such detail.
I will search for the default ubuntu config now, so I can use it with
./configure (assuming that major componentents such as mathmore are
included). If anyone readily knows what it is/where I can look it up I'd
greaty appreciate the input.
