Hi Rod,

   the chirp TFile interface is still supported, however not updated to any newer chirp versions. On the afs version the chirp module is not build as chirp is not installed on the build machines and hence the plugin is not build. I'll check into the new chirp lib and will update the interface. To get ROOT with chirp you should rebuild ROOT yourself and specify the location of libchirp.
