Dear Vassili,
The only difference is the Line Width.
Use gStyle->SetLineScalePS() to adjust.

Dear Oliver,

the histogram line width in the PS file is way much wider then on screen, background color (have a look inside and outsize the frame), shading and gridlines differ as well. What's interesting, this does not happen while saving in EPS/PDF a TCanvas, which isn't divided.

P.S. BTW, why Y-axis of histogram is changing at the instant of saving?
