Hi Frank,

   for this to work your terminal has to send the sequence
<ESC>[A, ..., <ESC>[D for the 4 cursor (arrow) keys (ANSI codes). Check
your xterm setup to see how to enable this. The <TAB> completion
has not yet been implemented.
