1) Where is it ??? I downloaded the NT binaries and I do not see it. Perhaps
it should be easy to do a html version people can see on the web.

2) I am planning to introduce this tool as a handy tool for our PV guys. Do
we have to buy any licenses. Note : we will not sell your tool but
distribute ( freely) among us.

3) Did I heard a Java version is coming or I am just dreaming ?

4) how can you collect custom events ? Our application generates tons of
data and we would like to read, store, archive. Is there a tutorial on that.

:Hi Yassin,
:
: 1) the current release of ROOT comes with the following license:
:
:/*************************************************************************
: * Copyright(c) 1995-1998, The ROOT System, All rights reserved. *
: * Authors: Rene Brun, Nenad Buncic, Valery Fine, Fons Rademakers. *
: * *
: * Permission to use, copy, modify and distribute this software and its *
: * documentation for non-commercial purposes is hereby granted without *
: * fee, provided that the above copyright notice appears in all copies *
: * and that both the copyright notice and this permission notice appear *
: * in the supporting documentation. The authors make no claims about the *
: * suitability of this software for any purpose. *
: * It is provided "as is" without express or implied warranty. *
: *************************************************************************/
:
:2) The x3d library is only available for the X11 version. However, the
Windows
: version of ROOT allows 3d charts via the normal ROOT graphics system,
: or via OpenGL. Look at some of the tutorials in the $ROOTSYS/tutorials
: directory. They should work fine in a VC++ project.
:
:Cheers, Fons.
