  I have noticed that the class dictionary in Root is very similar to object
technologies implemented in CORBA and Microsoft's COM/DCOM. Why Root uses
its own technique but doesn't use CORBA or COM? There is free CORBA
implementations ported on many platforms (such as TAO).
