Hello,

The ROOT 102 tutorial is now available at http://www-pat.fnal.gov/root.

ROOT 102 is a sequel to the Introduction to ROOT class. In ROOT 102 you will
learn how to use the ROOT objects from the command line and in macros.
Specifically you will learn how to do define functions and use them for
fitting , how to build ROOT TTrees and write them to files, how to use trees
designed by others and use them for your own HEP analysis, how to use CINT
for debugging, and how to add your own C++ class to ROOT. ROOT 102 expects
an understanding of Object Oriented concepts, C++, and the material in the
introductory class.

You will also find a link to Peter Malzacher's "C++ Basics for ROOT Users".
C++ Basics for ROOT Users is intended to introduce basic concepts of C++ in
a way that you will be able to follow the ROOT 102 class even if you have no
prior knowledge of C or C++, but are fluent in Fortran.

Fermi's root web page is also accessible from the publication list page of
the root system web page (http://root.cern.ch/root/Publications.html).

Your comments, questions are always welcome.
Suzanne Panacek, Philippe Canal, and Peter Malzacher.
