Problem with Cerenkov process ?

Hello ,  

 I have just updated my libraries to geant4.7.0 patch01 and geant4_vmc1.6.  I have a application that works with Geant3 either native geometry or with TGeo.
 When i switch to geant4 , the cerenkov particle are not generated.   I set Optical Material Properties using the method from TVirtualMC:

                            gMC->SetCerenkov(Mid, NK, ppckov,absco, 

effic, rindex);  

  I controlled that those values are correctly transfered to the G4 definition when
  converting TGeo classes to G4 ones.
  I used the standard VMC physics list definition,    and in my g4config.in macro the following definition for processes :   

/mcPhysics/setEM true
/mcPhysics/setMuon true
/mcPhysics/setHadron true
/mcPhysics/setOptical true
/mcPhysics/rangeCut 1.
 

  if i test with the (pDGCode == 50000050) i found that no Cerenkov photons are generated.    

  Any hints ?
