Hi Denis,
I think that your problem has been already fixed
in the CVS version of geant4_vmc.
I have made several corrections when implementing
the new VMC functions for setting optical properties
and the new E06 example which purpose is to test
Cherenkov and optical physics.
(Your test pDGCode == 50000050 is used for counting Cherenkov
photons in the example and work ok here.)
This development was not yet included in the geant4_vmc version 1.6; could you test with the development version and let me know? Or, you can wait a little bit more, to version 1.7 that should be available as soon as I get to test it with the last versions of Root and Geant4.
Best regards,
Ivana
