[ROOT] mn_fit equivalent

Hi All,

There are quite a few people here at CDF who use mn_fit for
fitting histograms. This is keeping quite a few people I know from
switching to root from paw. The standard fitting gui brought up by
root doesn't have the flexibility of mn_fit. Has anyone come up
with a fitting environment similar to mn_fit?

These are some of the features that people seem to use frequently

- fix the mean,sigma
- fix the area
- fit over non-contiguous bin ranges
- fix the difference between two means
- fix the ratio of the area of two distributions
