[ROOT] X11 problem

Hi ROOTers,

I've just compiled an X(4.2) and a ROOT (3.03/09) with gcc v2.95 on debian 
3.0. I have some problems with the X, but it works. But not the ROOT. I tried 
the demos, but every time when I want to open a window it writes " Error in 
<RootX11ErrorHandler>: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) 
(XID: 0, XREQ: 88)". 

Can anybody help me?

( the video-card is a NVidia GeForce 2 MX400, with thw NVidia driver, but it 
doesn't work with the xfree driver neither. )
