Hi i am trying to install root ver3.05.o3 on windowsxp. I already have Cygwin setup. When i get the tar file fro root untar this then by sitting in the root directory i used ./configure <arch> command when i do gmake this gives me lot of error message about the missing liberaries. Then i looked at the Makfile the line number where this gives me the error messages looks for he cern liberaries. Can any one help me that how do i get my root stup on windowsXP. do i need to get Visual C++ but i dont think so as i have Cygwin which provides gcc2.95.2 compiler. any help. regards ---saleem
