Hi Ed,

Most GUI widgets are demonstrated in the guitest.C tutorial
see $ROOTSYS/tutorials/guitest.C
or  $ROOTSYS/test/guitest.cxx

for example
root > .x guitest.C

In the "Test" menu, select the "Dialog" item, then "Tab5"
You will see an example of what you want.
