Hi Ilka,

Here's what I do to reproduce the problem. I start root version 5.06/00 and then:

root [0] TCanvas c1
Then I close the canvas by clicking on the "close button", ie the little x in the corner of the window. The result is the following. root [1] Error in <RootX11ErrorHandler>: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) (XID: 15749119, XREQ: 88)

I am using Hummingbird Exceed 10.0.0.15 on a Windows XP machine. Root is running on a linux machine with SL, kernel 2.4.21-32.0.1.Elsmp.
