Hi,

I have installed root on ubuntu 11.04 without any problem but when I run root, I see the following:

asaddiq_at_Inspiron-1545:~$ root
Couldn't find font "-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1", trying "fixed". Please fix your system so helvetica can be found, this font typically is in the rpm (or pkg equivalent) package XFree86-[75,100]dpi-fonts or fonts-xorg-[75,100]dpi.

ROOT 5.30/02 (tags/v5-30-02_at_40973, Sep 22 2011, 10:55:04 on linux)

CINT/ROOT C/C++ Interpreter version 5.18.00, July 2, 2010 Type ? for help. Commands must be C++ statements. Enclose multiple statements between { }.

I have installed all the prerequisites for ubuntu listed which are here:

http://root.cern.ch/drupal/content/build-prerequisites

I have followed following installation method:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/39363/how-do-i-install-root-cern

Can you please help me to get rid from this "adobe-helvetica....." ?? I don't know whether its harmless or not.

Cheers,
